About the Trust

The Mohamed Sathak Trust, a charitable and educational organisation, was founded on October 26, 1973, in Kilakarai, Ramanathapuram District, Tamil Nadu, by the charitable Mohamed Sathak Family.

The Trust founded the first self-financing engineering college in the nation in 1984 at Kilakarai,

The trust has a proven track record of managing outstanding educational institutions in a variety of disciplines, including Engineering Technology, Arts and Sciences, Schools, Teacher Training College, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Architecture and Medical Sciences; it currently operates 18 educational institutions in Kilakarai, Ramanathapuram and Chennai.

The Mohamed Sathak Trust will mark its golden jubilee in 2023 over five decades of contribution in the field of Education.

About the College

Mohamed Sathak College of Arts & Science was established in 1991, by the Mohamed Sathak Trust with the sole aim of spreading Quality education. A coeducational institution, recognized as one of the leading institutions for quality higher education imparted in the fields of Arts, Management and Science which is affiliated with the University of Madras and approved by the AICTE. The College offers 20 Undergraduate, 9 Postgraduate, 3 Diploma Courses and 6 Research Programmes on campus.
